Editorial Policy and Disclosure Statement

This policy is valid from 1 June 2014

This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation primarily in the form of but not limited to virtual goods and services. Anything paid, sponsored, provided free or gifted is clearly disclosed as such within the article. Compensation never affects my honest review policy and I do not accept compensation for anything I do not like, use or recommend. Providing review copies does not guarantee any review at all and does not guarantee a review within a certain time-frame unless contracted by written agreement. 

I am not primarily a virtual stylist or review blogger, though I  really enjoy dressing up, attending events and decorating our properties. My Second Life passions are creating, virtual travel and journalling. I do not request review copies however I DO like to review exceptional products and services I come across, for the benefit of other SL consumers. That said, you cannot buy a good review here but you will always get an honest one if I review your product. The excellent quality of your goods and services must earn my appreciation. That said, I also strive to be tactful with criticism if I offer it and I reserve the right to terminate review agreements if  I consider products or services to be inferior, not within the scope of my interests or otherwise unacceptable to me for any reason.

If you think I might like your product, please contact me by in-world note-card or email me at fauve.aeon@gmail.com with "Review Request: YourBrandName" as the title/subject line BEFORE sending me anything. IMs will be ignored. I try very hard to only accept items that will be of interest to my friends and readers, things that are to my taste, fit my style, and are within the scope of my interest and abilities to review fairly, honestly and in a timely manner. Including a short brand description and a photo or 2 is helpful. Items from upcoming events are appreciated well in advance to give me a good chance to test and photograph them before the beginning of the event.

A note regarding the tone of this blog: I like Second Life a lot and purposely structure my inworld work and hobbies in a way that leaves little time or room for negativity or unpleasantness of any sort. I don't have complaints about Linden Lab nor do I engage in SL politics and disputes or take sides in them. I follow my own muse and she is demanding enough! ;)
